Lisbon Metro

In the Lisbon metro I was in

Just coming back from work

Whem a couple of Spanish teenagers came in

Singing, drinking and dancing

Like shining queens and kings

Why can't I be like them?

Like I have my personal sun?

Why all this rain on me?

I just want to have some fun

Shining boys and girls singing

With their bottles in their hands

Shining boys and girls screaming

Party night never ends

In the Lisbon metro I've realized

That I left something behind

In the Lisbon metro I fantasized

That I'm still that shining boy tonight.
